Hello, my name is Saras Wouldham. I live in Dover and work at Canterbury Cathedral. I have been there for 5 years and previous to this I worked for Customs & Excise. 3 years ago, Philip Oostenbrink joined our team and the rest is history as they say! It is all thanks to Philip that I joined Plant Heritage and am now Treasurer for the Kent group.

I am a keen gardener but by no means an expert and my second love is football. My husband and I are keen Arsenal supporters however, football is not allowed to be played in my garden!

I have a lovely south facing garden backing on to the river Dour that is full of plants largely donated by Philip!

I am married with three children, though sadly none of my family (so far) have got the gardening bug, though they all appreciate what I do!
